Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team at 255 Stroud Road. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, promoting their dignity and independence, and ensuring their optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support in a way that is respectful, promotes dignity, and independence.
- Communicate with individuals using appropriate communication methods.
- Assist with personal care, household activities, and medication administration.
- Participate in the development and implementation of support plans.
- Record and complete any necessary documentation.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour.
- Good basic comprehension of the English language, including basic literacy and numerical skills.
- Ongoing commitment to personal development and training.
