About the Role

The Supply Register, in partnership with Longfield Academy, seeks an experienced English Teacher to fill a part-time position. This role involves shaping young minds and contributing to the educational journey of students.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 per annum

Responsibilities

• Create and implement lesson plans that foster insightful discussions and inclusive learning environments
• Communicate effectively with support staff regarding student support requirements
• Monitor student progress and adapt targets to meet individual needs
• Offer constructive feedback to students on their performance
• Ensure a secure learning environment at all times

Requirements

• Previous teaching experience is crucial
• Holding QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications is compulsory
• A valid Right to Work in the UK is essential
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to process one is necessary
• Two professional references covering the last two years of employment are required
