About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading food manufacturing company as a Technical Coordinator. The company has a strong reputation for producing high-quality goods and is looking for an experienced professional to oversee food safety processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement food safety procedures to ensure compliance with BRCGS, Organic, Halal, and Kosher certifications.
  2. Manage allergen control, pest control, and supplier service approvals, ensuring accurate documentation and food safety process management.
  3. Lead monthly management meetings on food safety, quality, and legal issues, investigate complaints, implement corrective actions, and liaise with customer representatives.
  4. Perform daily food safety checks, manage records, conduct recall testing, and handle the induction and training of new employees.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in a food manufacturing industry is essential for this role.
  2. Ideal candidate will have Lead Auditor qualifications, NEBOSH / IOSH certifications, and Advanced HACCP and Food Hygiene certifications.

Company Information
The company is based in the East Midlands and offers a competitive salary according to experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
