About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our team at Platinum Recruitment Consultancy. As a Plant Fitter Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining various heavy machinery equipment such as excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, rollers, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing and maintenance of heavy machinery equipment.
- Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults and issues.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
- Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- NVQ or City & Guilds in a form of engineering.
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer overtime paid at time and a half, full training, and progression opportunities.
