Join our Finance & Strategy Analytics team as a Senior Data Scientist and contribute to the growth and profitability of our marketplace. As a key member of our team, you will analyze, model, and influence our planning and capital allocation across markets, products, and workstreams, leveraging best practices in analytics and data science techniques.

Your Mission:
  • Analyze and model our business to provide regular intelligence and forward guidance to senior leadership.
  • Support strategic capital allocation decisions across our growth levers, including marketing, product, pricing, and more.
  • Advance our understanding and prediction of customer and seller Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Explore the latest trends in forecasting and experimentation in marketplaces to identify new opportunities to better support growth.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives working closely with business and engineering stakeholders.
You Will Thrive Here If:
  • You have 5-8+ years of relevant industry experience and a degree in a quantitative field.
  • You possess deep knowledge in forecasting, statistics, causal inference, and experimentation.
  • You are a self-starter who understands the current and future business needs.
  • You are proactive in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • You are comfortable taking calculated, data-driven risks and using learnings to continue to pivot and evolve forecasting approaches.
