As a key member of our specialist Housing Sustainability and Net Zero team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering ambitious net zero programmes for major global clients.

Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in interpreting and using data to drive decarbonisation and asset planning, with a systematic approach to project management. They will possess strong subject matter expertise of net zero and ESG policy and strategy in the social housing sector, as well as excellent communication skills to develop succinct and accurate communications covering complex subject matter for delivery to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To support social landlords and public sector bodies through the delivery journey of their net-zero strategies and investment programmes
  • To lead on the analysis of housing asset data to benchmark energy performance and develop investment scenarios against energy performance and net zero targets
  • To support social landlords to measure their environmental performance and put in place ESG strategies and reporting frameworks
  • To deliver current industry assistance programmes including the Social Housing Retrofit Accelerator, working directly with housing providers to build their capacity to deliver housing retrofit

The successful candidate will also contribute towards new business opportunities and participate in bid writing and bid management. A degree qualified or equivalent relevant work experience in a sustainability or environment related topic is essential, with a focus on housing and/or the wider built environment.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in interpreting and using data to drive decarbonisation and asset planning
  • Systematic approach to project management with extensive experience of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong subject matter expertise of net zero and ESG policy and strategy in the social housing sector
  • Excellent communication skills to develop succinct and accurate communications
  • Able to review, analyse and benchmark energy and carbon performance

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits. If you are passionate about making a difference and driving sustainable change, we encourage you to apply.
