Aerospace Manufacturing Expert Required

We are seeking an experienced aerospace manufacturing expert to join our team. As a CAD designer, you will be responsible for designing and manufacturing components using advanced software tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and manufacturing engineering, with experience in component design and manufacture. Proficiency in Enovia Smarteam, Catia V5, and Excel is required.

Estimated Salary: £62,500 - £82,500 per annum, based on location and experience

Job Description:

  1. Design and manufacture components using advanced software tools
  2. Interpret design data to generate tools and fixtures that reduce NVA and improve process capability
  3. Understand business and manufacturing processes, including aerospace regulation requirements
  4. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory conditions
  5. Proactively manage project risk and mitigate as necessary

Requirements:

  • Engineering accreditation, such as an indentured apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Proficiency in Enovia Smarteam, Catia V5, and Excel
