About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Analyst to join our team at Whistl Rushden.

As an ICQA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring stock integrity and optimizing storage plans.

You will manage safe, secure product handling from putaway to despatch, using data to drive decisions on quality, space, and capacity and collaborate with Operations to identify solutions, improve processes, and ensure continued accuracy.

About You

You will be experienced in driving efficiency in operational cost, KPI measurement, and accurate day-to-day planning to guide the operation using effective communication to achieve best practices and perform regular analysis to create plans and the best possible performance.

You will be familiar and comfortable with process management and a target-driven environment which is data-led, coupled with a close customer behavior and focus, adapting your approach to problem-solving and contributing to change projects, ensuring effective cost management is embedded and embraced with all key stakeholders.

There is a requirement to be client-facing to keep our customer representatives informed, and strong communication skills are essential to identify robust, workable solutions and plans.

This ICQA Analyst role would suit candidates with skills or experience as an Inventory Analyst, ICQA Analyst, or in a similar role, in operational strategy, costing, logistics, MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Additional Information

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, with flexibility to adjust to the needs of a 24-hour operation. However, there is also a requirement to support outside regular hours and occasionally at different locations.

Essential Skills

Additionally, you'll require:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence stakeholders, adapt to various audiences, and convey urgency and direction.
  • Strong decision-making ability based on data and evidence in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficient at interpreting performance data to identify improvements and recommend solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables and graphs).
Desirable Skills

Preferably, you will be experienced in stock control and/or warehouse management systems.
