You'll work on real-world projects, collaborating with our expert teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your development pathway will guide you through the role of Payload Architect, where you'll be responsible for analyzing payload system architecture, performing performance trade-offs, and preparing technical reports and presentations for our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of payload system architecture and end-to-end telecom systems, with a focus on RF and payload system performance analysis.
  • Supporting payload test campaigns and analyzing test results, working closely with our Assembly, Integration, and Test operations team.
  • Utilizing modelling tools such as Matlab and Python for in-house analysis, Keysight ADS, and Microsoft Office and Gsuite for presenting technical information to customers.
  • Staying up-to-date with cutting-edge satellite and payload technology, telecommunication satellite missions, and key performance parameters and analysis.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Communications, Satellite Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with modelling software used for end-to-end RF communication chains.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, Octave, or Visual Basic.
  • A solid theoretical background in digital communications and the ability to apply theory to solve practical problems.
