Caregiver for Children with Complex Needs

Charles Hunter Associates is proud to offer a dynamic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team in a beautiful SEN School based in Wokingham, Berkshire. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to students with complex needs, aged 3 years and above.
Salary: £11.44 per hour PAYE + holiday pay or £14.32 per hour Umbrella
We are seeking an individual who has experience working in social care or education environments and possesses the necessary skills to work effectively with children with complex needs. Your duties will include supporting students during lessons and break times, supervising and engaging with them, and promoting their independence through activities such as cooking and household chores.
In addition to your daily responsibilities, you will also contribute to administrative tasks, including record-keeping, log recording, and contact recording, while maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding.
Requirements:
- Child & Adults Enhanced DBS
- Experience working in social care/education environment
- Experience working with children with complex needs from the ages 3+ years
