The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Line managing teaching assistants when required.
  • Providing meaningful feedback on pupil attainment and progress.
  • Supporting the class teacher in monitoring, assessing, recording, and reporting pupils' progress.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN in an employed or voluntary setting.
  • A passion for working with SEN children.
  • The ability to put the child first and treat them as an individual.
  • Positive and creative approaches to meeting pupils' individual needs.
  • Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
