Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Supply Register. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in our primary schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting lesson plans to meet their needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive a high-quality education
  • Assist with record-keeping and attend review meetings as required
  • Develop positive relationships with students, promoting their confidence and self-esteem
  • Support students with different SEN requirements, including those with physical, social, and emotional needs
Requirements:
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA) or related Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
