Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Carbon Mineralisation Specialist to join our team as a Founder in Residence. In this role, you will work closely with our team to build a new company focused on CO2 mineralisation and above-ground storage. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and commercialising cutting-edge technologies that address the global carbon challenge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative CO2 mineralisation processes and technologies;
  • Collaborate with our team to design and execute a comprehensive business plan for the new company;
  • Pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive growth and adoption of our technologies;
  • Lead the development of proof-of-concept data and demonstration projects to validate our solutions;
  • Contribute to the establishment of a strong network of industry partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • PhD or equivalent industry experience in geochemistry, chemistry, or material science with a focus on CO2 mineralisation processes;
  • In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art geochemical CDR, CO2 mineralisation technologies, and sustainable construction material manufacturing;
  • Proven track record of building and scaling new technologies from concept to demonstration;
  • Strong industry-specific know-how, commercial acumen, and network within the carbon market and construction material sector;
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, paid monthly at £4,166;
  • Up to £250k in investment to support the launch and growth of the new company;
  • Majority equity stake in the new company between you and your co-founder(s);
