About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Wickes. As the go-to person in the store on shift, you will be responsible for inspiring your colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and helping to overcome any issues that may arise.

This is a fast-paced customer-facing environment where no two days are the same. You will be highly organized and have a passion for ensuring our customers receive the best possible service, while also inspiring and leading your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard and that all health and safety procedures are followed
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, up to 7.5% annual bonus, and up to £300 per month gain share bonus. You will also receive various shift patterns to suit you, up to 10% employer pension contribution, and up to 35 days of annual leave including 8 days of bank holidays.
