We are recruiting for a Skilled Tradesperson to join our high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical testing and installation/project work, specifically commercial lighting replacements.

You will be responsible for conducting Inspecting & Testing on customer's electrical installations (EICRs), including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.

A Strong understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace is essential for this role, as well as flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts, and willingness to travel to sites across ROI and stay overnight when required.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of £39,312 with average earnings of circa £50,350, uncapped bonus potential, 31 days holiday allowance, pension scheme, company vehicle, fuel card, coverage of all work-related expenses, fully maintained vehicle, laptop, PDA, testing equipment, uniform, discounts with retailers, ongoing career development opportunities, and a 24-hour wellbeing helpline.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and testing electrical installations (EICRs)
  • Completing reports and certification using our cloud-based certification software
  • Ensuring timely completion and submission of reports and certification
  • Carrying out LED lighting replacements

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience in electrical testing environment
  • Knowledge of electrical installation/project work, specifically commercial lighting replacements
  • UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace
  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts
  • Full UK Driving Licence with 6 points or less
