Plant Operations Manager

Due to continued growth, our company is seeking a Plant Manager to support our manufacturing operation in Kings Lynn.
This role involves managing a team of over 30 headcount, improving product quality, reducing waste, and ensuring a safe working environment.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements in working practices using modern manufacturing philosophies.
You will manage cost, quality, and output, working closely with other departments to create efficiencies in quality and delivery.
You will produce and maintain a production plan to ensure all sales orders and key stock levels are serviced, with lead times maintained or improved.
You will ensure stock replenishment and kanban systems reflect production capabilities.
RequirementsIdeally, you will have an HNC or equivalent in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
You will have proven experience in a manufacturing environment at senior level and be able to demonstrate experience in effectively leading teams.
You will have had exposure to and experience in implementing systems, such as LEAN, Kanban, Faxban, Six Sigma, and Kaizan.
You will have strong communication skills, providing regular information to SMT through daily and weekly reporting.
