About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Sister to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Sister will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and supporting the development of our A&E department. This will involve:
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the team
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care pathways
- Identifying and addressing areas for improvement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree-level qualification in nursing
- At least 5 years of post-registration experience
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Experience of working in a fast-paced A&E environment
