About the role

As a Customer Service Associate at Tesco, you will play a vital role in serving our customers with passion and pride. Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service, ensuring that every shopper has a great shopping experience. You will work closely with your colleagues to maintain a clean and organized store environment, and you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting at £12.02 an hour, which increases to £13.15 for stores within the M25. You will also receive a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with opportunities to work more hours if desired. Our team is committed to supporting flexibility, so if your availability matches closely but not exactly to our advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that every shopper has a great shopping experience.
  • Working closely with your colleagues to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Meeting the needs of customers at the right time.
  • Being knowledgeable about your store's performance and understanding the part you play in driving service and sales.
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
  • Being yourself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome, and always following our policies.

You will need
