About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at Compass UK & Ireland. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Overseeing the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards
  • Implementing menu changes and identifying opportunities to improve our food services
  • Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Compass UK & Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  • Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Experience in a similar Chef role
  • Food Hygiene certificate
  • Flexible approach to working
