We are seeking an experienced and skilled Principal Geneticist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our genetic counselling service for individuals and families affected by Ehlers Danlos syndromes.
Job Description:
As a Principal Geneticist, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and implementation of our genetic counselling service for Ehlers Danlos syndromes.
- Providing expert genetic counselling to patients and families affected by Ehlers Danlos syndromes.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients and families.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in genetics and rare diseases.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Genetics, Counselling, or a related field.
- Registration with the GCRB/HCPC as a Genetic Counsellor.
- Proven experience working with patients and families affected by Ehlers Danlos syndromes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Salary:** £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
Location:** London.
