As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of repairs and new works to a high standard, including the service, installation, maintenance, and testing of complex systems.

  • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment within the hospital estate.
  • Comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
  • Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience repairing plant and equipment, as well as the ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose, and repair equipment using your technical knowledge.
  • NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent and have Building services Knowledge.
  • Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines, along with good organisation skills.
  • Great communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.
  • Capable of working as part of a team or unsupervised, and of remaining calm under pressure.
