Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Opportunity

In Manchester, a leading veterinary referral hospital is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Intern. This position is perfect for those laying foundations for residency applications or aspiring to strengthen their abilities in emergency and critical care.

The successful candidate will participate in planning, diagnosis, and treatment of cases, considering animal welfare and ethics in interventions. Maintaining high clinical standards and accurate records is essential for this role, as well as maintaining impeccable clinical records and written correspondence.

As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the provision of excellent patient care, working closely with experienced veterinarians and support staff. You will gain valuable experience in emergency medicine and critical care, developing your skills in managing complex cases and collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional outcomes.

We prefer applicants to have successfully completed a small animal rotating internship in a multi-disciplinary referral hospital. The estimated salary for this position is £24,000-£30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
