Join Our Team as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a talented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Leeds. As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial aspects of our projects across Yorkshire. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing monthly cost and value forecasts
  • Preparing and submitting applications for payment
  • Ensuring cost control is maintained
  • Measuring and valuing works carried out on site
  • Procuring and assessing sub-contractor applications
  • Tracking changes to design and capturing variations
  • Reviewing progress against programme
  • Cost value reconciliation on schemes
  • Assisting in the tendering process

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant commercial course, with a minimum grade of 2:2
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for the civil engineering sector
  • Strong IT skills and competence with Microsoft tools
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping
