Living Skills Coordinator

We provide person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.
Our supported living and outreach service is based in Blackpool, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to develop their independent living skills and participate in community activities.
About the Role- Developing independent living skills and community inclusion of service users
- Identifying and accessing activities that promote valued and meaningful lifestyles
- Providing respectful personal care, emotional and practical support to service users
- Collaborating with service users, families, and the multi-disciplinary team to maximise service user outcomes
- Implementing Creative Support principles, policies, procedures and guidelines
- Ensuring the service meets CQC requirements
- Supervising and supporting staff to best meet service user needs and preferences
- Supporting service users with challenging behaviour and implementing positive behaviour support
- Experience in a similar role
- Management experience
- A car for work purposes
- An estimated salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends
