About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the administrative aspects of our research programmes within the Centre for Cancer Screening, Prevention, and Early Diagnosis (CCSPED) at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health.
This will involve developing comprehensive monitoring systems, supporting grant applications, and managing budgets to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational and financial coordination
- Monitoring resources and budgets within allocated projects
- Supporting staff and students with applications for new funding
About You
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in project management, coordinating research within the NHS, university, and/or industry sectors, and managing budgets and resources across a portfolio of research projects.

The Wolfson Institute of Population Health is an exciting and dynamic environment, home to over 400 staff, more than 100 PhD students, and more than 500 postgraduate taught students. Cancer Behavioural Science group and the CRUK-funded Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU) are part of CCSPED, bringing together globally leading researchers focusing on cancer prevention, screening, and detection and early diagnosis.
