Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Ark Elvin Academy. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to pupils, both in one-to-one settings and in large group classes.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities in a one-to-one setting and in large group classes
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons to meet the needs of pupils with special educational needs
- Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with special educational needs, including behavior management and communication techniques
- Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive comprehensive support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for pupils with special educational needs
