Job Title: Academic Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Academic Support Specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd in Flitwick. As an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or unqualified teacher, you will provide personalized support to students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored tutoring sessions to students with SEN, focusing on their individual learning styles and needs.
- Support students in both academic and social development, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and work with the wider school team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each learner.
- Adapt and modify learning materials to ensure accessibility for all students.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, helping them to gain confidence and achieve their full potential.

Requirements:
- Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or as an unqualified teacher looking to progress your career in the education sector is essential.
- A compassionate, patient, and creative approach to teaching and supporting children with special educational needs.
- A strong understanding of different learning difficulties (e.g., Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both students and other educational professionals.
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children with SEN.
