Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Werfen. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for our medical diagnostic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for medical diagnostic products, including circuit boards, firmware, and software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Werfen remains at the forefront of medical diagnostic innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on medical device development.
  • Proven track record of designing and developing complex electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electronics, and electromagnetism.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English language required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with FPGA design and implementation, digital signal processing, and firmware development.
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations, including FDA and ISO 13485.
  • Experience with design control and risk management processes.
