About the Role:

The Front Office Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process, handling guest queries, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests and acting as their first point of contact
  • Logging issues or requests
  • Answering the phones to prospective customers and guests
  • Completing administration tasks
  • Completing concierge services
  • Preparing room bills and taking payment
  • Answering guest queries, and questions about the hotel, and/or Glasgow
  • Signposting guests to our Restaurant and Bar

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic
  • Driven
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility
  • Experience of Hotel Reception or working with the general public preferred
