Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM to 3:15 PM

Rate of Pay: £12.90 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Part-Time General Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Preston. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Provide individualized support to students or small groups, helping them to overcome learning challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning space for all.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work afternoons from 12:30 PM to 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Desire to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to achieve educational goals.
  • Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine interest in education and child development.
