Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom Sirona care & health CIC Full time

Sirona care & health CIC is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Health Nutritionist to join our team of multi-professional staff in Bristol, North Somerset, or South Gloucestershire. As a Band 5 Community Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work across different settings, including rehabilitation units, residential care, patients' own homes, and clinics.

This role offers a unique chance to gain both inpatient and community experience working within a friendly team of dietitians and diabetes specialist nurses. We are looking for someone who has a passion to improve health outcomes across BNSSG and can demonstrate excellent communication skills, a practical approach to service delivery, and the ability to work in a team.

The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a Agenda for Change Salary, you will receive full NHS benefits, 27+ days' annual leave, and participation in the NHS Pension Scheme.

We offer a robust induction to the service and a preceptorship programme for new graduates. Our service users have a variety of clinical conditions, such as stroke, progressive neurological diseases, learning disabilities, and diabetes. This means they often have complex health needs, such as eating and drinking difficulties, and additional communication needs.

We value diversity and are committed to having a workforce that reflects the communities we support. We welcome applications from those who are in their final year of Dietetic study, new graduates, and experienced professionals.

This role includes delivery of diabetes patient structured education, MUST training to Health Care Professionals, and holding your own caseload of clinic and home visit patients. You will also have the opportunity to work with enterally fed patients and gain experience in different specialties on a rotational basis.
