As a dedicated Support Worker for Independent Living, you will be instrumental in empowering customers to achieve their goals and live their best lives. Your day will be filled with providing personal care, assisting with daily activities, and promoting social activities to foster a sense of community.


With a focus on delivering high-quality, effective personal care and housing-related support, you will work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the well-being of customers living within a service. Your passion for making a real difference will shine through in your work, and you will be committed to supporting customers in being as independent, safe, healthy, and happy as possible.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work 37.5 hours a week and have a strong understanding of people's unique needs and desires. You will be kind, empathetic, and respectful, with a genuine interest in the individual characteristics and needs of a diverse range of customers.


In addition to your excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and partner agencies, you will be knowledgeable about housing support needs and benefits. You will also be committed to promoting social activities and supporting customers to achieve their outcomes.
