Role Summary:
This Learning Support Lead position offers an exceptional opportunity to join our school's inclusion team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pastoral and learning support to learners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the inclusion team, ensuring that learners receive the necessary support to access learning effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant work experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff across the school. Key responsibilities include supporting learners in accessing learning, providing pastoral and learning support, and working under the guidance of the school leadership team.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS). We welcome applications from all backgrounds, particularly minority ethnic communities represented in the city.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme, discounted Newport Live membership, and the Cycle to Work Scheme. The estimated salary for this role is £31,500 - £34,500 per annum, SCP 18-12, pro rata.
