About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Richter. As a key member of our Key Geosolutions business, you will be responsible for leading or assisting in the delivery of geotechnical input to projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and designing site investigations and mineral exploration ground investigations
  • Working in multi-disciplinary project teams to complete large-scale projects
  • Supporting project delivery teams to meet client needs while maintaining sound financial and programme management and control
  • Assuming responsibility for a range of projects for diverse clients
  • Providing technical support for all stages of projects
  • Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members and non-technical staff
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant industry experience and chartership with a professional body
  • A first degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a relevant earth science, and a MSc in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Strong working knowledge of digital terrain modelling software, ideally LSS
  • Thorough understanding of legislation and regulations in relation to the UK quarrying industry
