We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our bioinformatics team at Newton Colmore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing complex bioinformatic algorithms, databases, and tools that will have a direct impact on our client's future research and development programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement machine learning and geometric deep learning algorithms to drive the development of databases that help our client understand the best targets and approaches to deliver novel therapies to patients.
- Work closely with data engineers and data analysts as part of a multidisciplinary team to drive project success.
- Take charge of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with the director of bioinformatics to align project goals and objectives with the company's overall strategy.
- Strong background in machine learning and bioinformatics, with experience in developing code in Python.
- Experience with Rosetta and sequence analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
