About the Role

As a key member of our team at Mears, you will be working closely with Dover District Council to deliver exceptional service and support through our local teams. This role involves working together for the benefit of the local community.

You will be out supporting residents with repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties, working from job to job on our day-to-day repairs contract. As part of a local team undertaking high-standard general repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, you will deliver best-in-class customer service, ensuring all safety, quality, and cost control standards are met.

Job Requirements
  • A valid UK full driving license is essential for this role.
  • Experience in social housing is beneficial, as well as knowledge in roofing, carpentry, and damp and mold repair.
  • Prior experience in maintenance or related fields is also desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with residents and colleagues.

This position requires candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

  • A competitive annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000 (dependent on location and experience).
