We are seeking a talented Senior Front End Developer to join our innovative team at Jet2, where you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the transformation of our digital presence.

About the Role:

As a Senior Front End Developer, you will work closely with our team to develop and enhance our websites using the latest technologies. You will dive into modern frameworks like React and Next.js to create seamless, responsive, and high-performance user experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will contribute to our core projects with vanilla JavaScript, ensuring our solutions are both innovative, robust and highly performant.
  • You will collaborate with other team members to bring creative ideas to life, pushing the boundaries of what's possible on the web.
  • You will mentor junior developers, providing technical leadership and conducting code reviews to uphold the highest standards.
  • You will stay ahead of the curve, keeping up with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development, ensuring our solutions are always at the forefront.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in front end development with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
  • Experience with React and JavaScript, along with familiarity with server-side rendering and Next.js.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating visually appealing, user-friendly applications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
