Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at Meridian Business Support Limited. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations across the Midlands, East Anglia, and South of England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle, completing up to 8 deliveries per night to closed branches.
  • Unload deliveries with the aid of a tail-lift and secure the vehicle.
  • Conduct daily checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Deliver consignments on an accurate and timely basis, ensuring all goods are loaded and secured safely.
  • Complete daily records of deliveries and maintain accurate driver manifests.
  • Communicate with the team to provide service updates and ensure seamless delivery operations.
Requirements:
  • A valid Class 1 Licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience of multi-drop deliveries, ideally 6 months.
