National Quality Assurance Manager Job Description

This position involves overseeing the quality assurance process for residential construction projects nationwide. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in a similar role within a Residential Developer/Main Contractor.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems, ensuring alignment with company best practices.
  2. Quality Planning: Create quality plans for construction projects, outlining quality criteria, inspection protocols, and quality assurance checkpoints.
  3. Quality Control: Monitor quality control processes, inspecting workmanship, materials, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Supplier Evaluation: Assess and select reliable vendors and suppliers to meet quality standards.
  5. Team Training: Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality assurance processes, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  6. Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  7. Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality reviews to verify compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
  8. Documentation: Manage documentation related to quality assurance activities.
  9. Non-Conformance Management: Investigate non-conformities, defects, and quality issues, leading efforts to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, regulations, and industry certifications.

A competitive salary package includes a basic salary up to £95,000 per annum, car allowance of £6,500, hotel/expenses account, pension, healthcare, bonus, and 25 days annual leave.
