Learning Support Teacher

Tadley Court School, a specialist school with an Ofsted rating of Good and Outstanding features, is seeking an experienced or newly qualified SEN teacher to join their successful and forward-thinking team. Located in a beautiful semi-rural setting, the school provides education and care for children and young people between the ages of 4 and 19 years.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), using specific techniques such as PECS and Makaton, and applying TEACCH principles. The role offers opportunities to work in a supportive phase that challenges students to be independent in their learning and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students with ASD and SLD
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
Requirements:
- QTS and/or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with students with ASD and SLD
- Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, and TEACCH principles
