Job Title: General Science Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Science Teacher to join our team on a Long-Term Supply basis at a reputable Secondary School in the Waltham Forest area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in General Science to a diverse range of students, adhering to the school's curriculum and teaching standards. They will also be expected to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment, providing constructive feedback to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in General Science to students of varying abilities.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Degree in General Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching General Science at the Secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
