Job Description

Job Title: Residential Support Worker - Children's Homes

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in our children's home in Tiverton. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with disabilities, helping them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people to achieve their personal wishes and goals
  • Be aspirational to the outcomes of children and young people
  • Create a fun and positive atmosphere, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being
  • Organise and participate in activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Be proactive and innovative in seeking new methods to engage and motivate children and young people

  • Ability to engage and build positive relationships with children and young people
  • Remain calm in challenging situations, demonstrating emotional resilience and self-awareness
  • Able to implement boundaries and promote a safe and respectful environment
