About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Public Health Practitioner in the London borough of Lambeth, focusing on the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

As a key member of the Public Health Team, you will work closely with schools to support the embedding of a whole school approach to health and wellbeing, and the delivery of good quality personal, social and health education (PSHE).

You will also support schools to achieve Healthy Schools London accreditation and work together with strategic and policy leads within the Council as well as external partners to improve the long-term health outcomes of children and families.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in public health, health promotion, education or similar setting and knowledge of the PSHE curriculum and emotional resilience agendas.
