We are looking for a highly skilled Marine Engineering Specialist to join our team at Gold Group Limited. As a key member of the Naval Architecture Department, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of ships, as well as supporting the largest shipbuilding programs in the UK.

Responsibilities will include using your knowledge of naval architecture to support the design and development of ships, undertaking research and development activities, and supporting sea trials, inclining experiments, and other commissioning activities.

We offer a competitive salary of £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, plus overtime and benefits including 14% pension, 25 days holiday, and free shares.

To be successful, you will need to be a qualified naval architect with a degree in Ship Science, Marine Technology, or similar, and hold Chartered Engineer status with RINA - Principal grade. Experience of stability or manoeuvring assessments, design or build support, and good technical report writing and presentation skills are also essential.
