About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Support Teacher to join our team in Fife. As a key member of the school staff, you will work closely with teachers, school leaders, and stakeholders to ensure pupils are fully included in their school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide short-term focused support to pupils
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement support strategies
- Consult with stakeholders to ensure effective support systems
- Support staff development and professional learning
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require high levels of interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a member of the school team. You will also be expected to contribute to and lead on areas of school improvement and demonstrate a commitment to your own professional learning through career-long professional learning activity.
Qualifications and Registration
You will be required to be fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) and to model all behaviour expected of a teacher in Scotland, in line with the relevant Professional Standards.
Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
