About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Ward Manager in providing day-to-day management and supervision of the ward
  • Support the delivery of personalized care and contribute to service improvement
  • Implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions within an overall care program
  • Ensure that care and treatment provided meets the standards set by regulators
Requirements
  • Active registration with the NMC, meeting the requirements of revalidation
  • Trained mentor and clinical supervision experience
  • Evidence of continued professional development and intent to maintain and develop continued professional development and leadership
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience in mental health or learning disability services

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 22:00 - 06:30 (20% of hourly rate)

Saturday: All day (20% of hourly rate)

Sunday: All day (50% of hourly rate)

Bank holidays: All day (50% of hourly rate)
