Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team at JLB Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with customers and AB engineers to diagnose and correct electrical and PLC software issues encountered with our existing machine relating to the interface with the control system and drives.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of machine tools and develop your skills in electrical control systems and PLC software. You will be working with a range of customers, from office-based to on-site, to resolve technical issues and provide support.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and correct electrical and PLC software issues with our existing machine tools
- Work with customers and AB engineers to resolve technical issues
- Develop and implement engineering best practice procedures to maximise effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements

- Recognised Engineering apprenticeship
- Valid UK driving license (clean preferred)
- Experience in dealing with both Manual and Computer Numerically Controlled Milling Machinery
- Fault diagnosis of both Electrical and Machine PLC Software problems on Machine tools
- Knowledge of Heidenhain, Siemens and Fanuc PLC logic including its interrogation and modification
