Heat Pump Design Engineer Opportunity

We are working in partnership with a leading contractor to deliver decarbonization projects across the UK and Ireland. As a Heat Pump Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their net zero goals by designing and selecting tailored heat pump solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop commercial heat pump systems, including schematics and layouts.
  2. Collaborate with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver project-specific solutions.
  3. Conduct detailed analyses and simulations to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.
  4. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of heat pump systems.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial heat pump design.
  2. In-depth knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.
  3. Strong understanding of F-Gas regulations and how they impact system design.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
