Job Title: Chartered Building Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough building and measured surveys to provide expert advice on construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of properties.
  • Provide expertise in insurance works and expert witness reports, as well as administer contracts and manage defect reports.
  • Carry out risk assessments and manage party wall matters, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, The Party Wall etc Act 1996, and Building Regulations legislation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • MRICS Status (or currently working towards this qualification).
  • Full driving licence.
  • Reside within commuting distance of Maidstone.
  • Demonstrated stable career history.
  • Experience with consulting engineering, surveying, architectural, and planning practices.
  • Awareness of current statutory requirements, technical publications, and guidelines.
Remuneration Package:
  • Salary: £50k - £60k DOE (higher for candidates with extensive experience).
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with increases based on service.
