Payroll Supervisor Opportunity

Xeinadin is a top 20 accountancy firm in the UK and Ireland, established in 2019 through the merger of over 100 successful practices. We are seeking a highly organized and deadline-driven Payroll Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. This includes reviewing team files to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, providing feedback on the quality of work produced by junior team members, and managing the entire payroll process from start to finish.

In this role, you will also be responsible for planning processes to meet client needs and statutory deadlines, maintaining meticulous records and a robust document control system, and staying up to date with company policies and tax legislation impacting payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including RTI filing, pension uploads, and generating reports for payments and third-party entities
• Review team files to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and provide feedback on the quality of work produced by junior team members
• Plan processes to meet client needs and statutory deadlines
• Maintain meticulous records and a robust document control system
• Stay up to date with company policies and tax legislation impacting payroll

Requirements:

• Experience in client-facing payroll, preferably within a practice environment
• Knowledge of HMRC legislation and Pension Auto Enrolment
• Ability to work effectively with multiple clients and prioritize workload
• Strong computer literacy and numerical skills, with experience using payroll software
